The Musselshell is an independently owned and operated residential construction firm located in Lafayette, Colorado. While we specialize in large scale renovations and new builds, we are also available for hire on smaller scale build outs.

We pride ourselves on the relationships we’ve built with our clients over the years, as well as the fairly priced, quality workmanship we deliver.

ABOUT THE OWNER

Originally from Western Pennsylvania, Tim received his MBA from Indiana University of PA before settling in Colorado, initially for the abundance of craft beer the state promised. He began his construction career over two decades ago as a trade carpenter in Durango before relocating to Lafayette and starting The Musselshell. He spends his free time playing team ice hockey (and on occasion in the penalty box) at the local rinks, and enjoys fly-fishing and hauling his trailer out to the desert. Tim lives in Lafayette with his partner, two daughters, and chihuahuas.
